100 Black Men of America, Inc.

Dear Chapter President,

We are happy to announce that the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Executive Committee, under authority of the Board of Directors, voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Kevin James as Interim CEO. Dr. James has been committed to improving his community through education and empowerment, during his nearly 20-year career as a higher education administrator, executive business leader, and motivational speaker.

Kevin has served in various senior-level administrative roles in both for-profit and non-profit colleges. He completed a successful assignment as Acting Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. His non-profit leadership experience includes serving on the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc.'s Board of Directors, as Chair of Mentoring, and Vice Chair for New Member Training. He also served on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. and was a career-readiness speaker for college students with the United Negro College Fund. Additionally, Dr. James has numerous non-profit leadership experiences as advisor and regional director within international associations and fraternal organizations.

We are fortunate to gain a leader with Kevin's experience, talent and vision who is prepared to assume immediate HQ operations and staff management. His focus on continuous improvement and establishing strong processes and procedures across all departments will create a productive work environment that yields faster response times on Board and Member requests.

Kevin will be joining us on Monday, July 2, 2018. He will be meeting with staff over the next week and is available immediately to assist Board and Chapter Presidents with any needs you have. Kevin can be reached at
