Community-Based Mentoring Program for Youth
We believe mentorship is more than guidance—it is transformation. Our comprehensive program provides consistent influence, direction, and support, addressing the social, cultural, emotional, and personal needs of male youth, with a focus on African American males. For many of these young men, mentoring is not just beneficial—it is essential.
“Show me a successful individual and I’ll show you someone who had real positive influences in his or her life. I don’t care what you do for a living—if you do it well, I’m sure there was someone cheering you on or showing you the way. A mentor.” – Denzel Washington
Our program is built on the understanding that the world young men are growing up in is complex and challenging. We know this journey because we have lived it. That is why our mentoring model pairs seasoned Black mentors with emerging leaders, creating a powerful cycle of shared experience, wisdom, and encouragement.
Through our partnership with Tulsa Public Schools, we mentor young males, regardless of race, in more than seven schools and impact hundreds of youth annually. From teaching and instilling character traits like integrity, responsibility, and compassion, to simply being a listening ear, our mentors serve as role models, advocates, and trusted advisors during the most formative years of a young man’s life.
Our approach combines group mentoring, individualized guidance, and targeted interventions. This allows us to connect with students across multiple age levels, meeting them where they are and helping them grow into strong, healthy, and culturally aware young men.
Mentoring is work that is never forgotten—it shapes lives for a lifetime.
